Mandurah Concert Band
Mandurah Concert Band (MCB) is a B-Grade award winning ensemble that launched in 1997 on a mission to promote band music within the community. Today, with a strong commitment to musical excellence, the band showcases rich repertoire, nurtures lifelong musicianship, and contributes proudly to Mandurah's cultural life.
MCB welcomes new members all year round with experience level of a grade 6 or higher, who align with our Core Values.
Mandurah Visionary Concert Band
Launched in 2025, the Mandurah Visionary Concert Band (MVCB) is a dynamic ensemble for developing and returning musicians, fostering confidence, skill growth, and joyful music-making in a positive environment. With supportive leadership and an inclusive culture, the band offers a welcoming pathway into community performance, celebrating progress, and the shared thrill of playing together.
MVCB welcomes new players all year round, whether they're new to their instrument*, are adults returning to music, or established musicians exploring a new instrument.
*10 years old and over, with at least 6 months of experience on their instrument.

creating an environment where members feel welcomed, respected, and valued. We believe that being a
united band leads to our ongoing success.
We show Appreciation for our ability to play music for the wider community by showing respect to our
Conductor, fellow members, and the music itself.
We have a Vision for music in our local community, encouraging involvement and appreciation for music,
especially nurturing new learners in the community, so that music will always be an integral part of the Arts.
When we perform and rehearse, we are focused on Enjoyment for our community and our members. We
relish the gift of music, to play, perform and share it with others.
Both bands play a mix of contemporary wind band works, popular tunes from the 1950's to present day, marches and hymns. Music from the stage and the screen, alongside sing-along favourites and toe-tapping pieces that delight audiences of all ages.
